No longer have the app installed?
Submit a request here and we will process the deletion manually. You do not need Aware installed to request deletion. Include the email address linked to your Aware sign-in so we can identify the account.

For your safety: never include your password, SMS message content, transaction details, or other financial information in the request.
1. Delete all data
Use Delete all data when you want to remove your ledger but keep the sign-in itself active.
What this does
- deletes transactions, budgets, categories, and profile data from this phone
- requests deletion of the backed-up ledger data tied to the current account
- keeps the sign-in account itself active
- returns the app to onboarding
What this does not do
- it does not delete the Google-linked or phone-linked Aware account itself
2. Delete Aware account
Use Delete Aware account when you want to permanently remove the signed-in backup account.
What this does
- deletes the signed-in Aware account
- deletes the cloud backup tied to that account
- removes linked sign-in access for that account
- signs this phone out
- returns the app to onboarding
Timing
- The in-app account deletion flow is intended to remove the live signed-in account immediately.
- Any residual soft-deleted cleanup records are purged by scheduled server cleanup within 30 days where applicable.
- Local device cleanup runs as part of the same in-app flow on this phone.
Local-only users
If you never turned on backup and are using Aware in local-only mode, there is no cloud account to delete. Use Delete all data instead.
Important differences

Support note
